The extension to the POGP/PP online Menopause Management course to 28/2/21 is in response to the extenuating circumstances that CSP members are facing due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The course will be finishing on the 28 February 2021 with no further extensions. It will then be evaluated and may return again in the future. Many thanks again to Positive Pause for their collaboration and support in developing this online course.
This POGP online course provides participants with the opportunity to better understand the challenges of menopause, its impact on every aspect of women’s lives and how practitioners clinical practice can meet the needs of this rapidly growing demographic.
Developed for ALL HCPC Registered Physiotherapists who wish to deepen their understanding and improve their management of women in perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause, this POGP course is being hosted by PositivePause who deliver vibrant, high quality events, partnering with expert health professionals in the current menopause arena. The online course will include seven high-quality, recorded modules, plus a Q&A, (also recorded) all hosted on a secure Learning Management System (LMS).

To build the confidence of clinicians to treat, advise and support women with the most up-to-date, factual, EBP related to all aspects of changes associated with the menopause – physiological, anatomical, nutritional and psychological.
Physiotherapy modules will be taught by POGP tutors. Other modules will be taught by a British Menopause Society Gynaecologist, a Registered Nutritional Therapist, a women's mental health Therapist & CBT Practitioner.
