POGP are delighted to announce that aptapelvic member Dr Jenny LaCross is back to teach part 2 of Understanding Research Methodology series on Thursday 7 December 2023 at 7pm. This is free to access for POGP members and just £10 for non-members. Bookings close at 16:00 on the day of the event.
Aims of the webinar:
This webinar will focus on helping clinicians develop their understanding and ability to interpret p-values, confidence intervals and effect sizes. This is for all clinicians at any level of their career and open to clinicians from specialities outside of pelvic health.
Meet the presenter, Dr Jenny LaCross:
Jenny LaCross PT, DPT, PhD(c), ATC, CLT (she/her) will complete her doctorate in physical therapy at Texas Woman’s University in June 2023. She is a board-certified clinical specialist in women’s health physical therapy and works as adjunct faculty for South College and University of Michigan-Flint in their respective clinical doctorate of physical therapy programs. Upon completion of her PhD, she will begin a postdoctoral research fellowship at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with the pelvic floor research group. As a clinician scientist, Jenny understands the difficulty of translating research to practice and aims to help other clinicians bridge this gap and elevate care delivery.
