Meeting overview
As a follow-up to the meeting that was held in September 2024, as part of the AGM, POGP members are invited to attend an informal discussion meeting about perinatal pelvic health service (PPHS) implementation on Wednesday 7 May 2025 from 6.30pm – 8.30pm, via Zoom.
The PPHS has been rolled out across England and POGP are interested to understand the following:
- What has gone well
- What has not gone so well
- Impact on referral rates and W/L
- How are services being run: a separate service or integrated within your current pelvic health service
- Have you developed any resources as part of implementing the PPHS in your area
- Would having PPHS resources stored in one place by POGP for all to access be helpful (credit to be given to the creators/authors)
- Recruitment and retention of staffing to physio and midwife roles
- Purchasing of equipment
- Clinical space availability
- Do you run a dedicated perineal injury clinic
- Do you have any support from an obstetrician in any of your clinics
- What support has been available from your organisation in the implementation process and on-going running of the service
- How might POGP be able to support its members regarding the PPHS
It would be great to have some insight as to how different areas/organisations are managing this service, as POGP are aware that everyone’s experience has been very different.

The meeting will be held via Zoom.
