Personal Statement

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1985. Since then I have worked in the NHS and privately, mainly concentrating on pelvic health, rheumatology and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I developed an interest in treating people with pelvic issues very early on after qualifying and in Cumbria worked as physiotherapy clinical lead for women’s health in addition to being physiotherapy clinical lead for rheumatology. I am keen to update my knowledge constantly and use a variety of skills that I have learned during my career to treat patients completing courses in women’s health yearly.
